Endovascular Coiling of Anterior Communicating Artery (A Com) Aneurysms in Early Postrupture Period - A Prospective Analysis

The scientific paper was presented by Dr. Tejas at the Radiological Society of North America Annual Meeting 2007.

Most centers still consider A com aneurysms to be candidates ideally suited for surgery.
A Com aneurysms are prone to rupture regardless of their size and need to be treated.
The results of endovascular coiling of A Com aneurysms in early post rupture phase are no way inferior as compared to surgery and can be considered as the first line therapy.
